Did you know yellow Tropical Hibiscus are some of the hardest to breed? That’s one of the reasons we’re excited about Ninos. It’s a great performer, producing a profusion of clear yellow 5-inch-wide flowers. Like our other new-for-2023 HibisQs® varieties, the long-lasting flowers hold up at least two days and there are a lot of them. In fact, this is the most floriferous yellow Tropical Hibiscus we’ve ever seen! It’s also a fuller, lusher plant than old-fashioned Hibiscus, so you can enjoy a beautiful, healthy plant that’s full of cheery, sunny-yellow flowers. This Tropical Hibiscus is shipped fresh from our farm, direct to your door.

    • Produces countless flowers throughout the summer
    • Flowers last two or even three days in cool-season climates
    • Loves all-day sun or afternoon sun with morning shade

Note: Your Hibiscus will arrive without open blooms (so they're not damaged while being shipped to you), but you should see flowers open within four or five days.

Orders received after Thursday will ship on the following Monday to guarantee freshness.

    Hibiscus rosa-sinensis HibisQs® Ninos

Bred specially for us by our partners Graff Breeding, Ninos is an exclusive new Tropical Hibiscus. Unlike most other yellow Hibiscus available, its flowers are pure yellow, without a red or pink center. It’s also been specifically bred to grow more branches than old-school Hibiscus. This means you get a fuller, lusher plant—and more blossoms per plant. The flowers are also long lasting, remaining open two or three days in cooler climates. So you can enjoy a lot more color!

Ninos is hardy in USDA Zones 10-11, but can be brought indoors in cold-winter climates and treated as a houseplant if you want to save it from year to year.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
