    Scindapsus Exotica

Scindapsus pictusoriginates from areas of Southeast Asia. We’re not sure when Exotica first came about, but we love it for its gorgeous looks. It pairs beautifully with the other Scindapsus varieties in our collection. Not sure the differences? Scindapsus Exotica vs. Mount Salak: Scindapsus Exotica has large dark green leaves dappled in silver, so you only see two colors in the foliage. Mount Salak is dappled in multiple shades of green, as well as silver. And the silver dappling on Mount Salak is finer.Scindapsus Exotica vs. Platinum Java form: Scindapsus Exotica is variegated with green and silver; Platinum has entirely silver leaves with no green. Scindapsus Exotica vs. treubii Moonlight:Scindapsus Exotica’s variegation is speckled while treubii Moonlight is overlaid in silver. Exotica also has a matte finish, whereas Moonlight is glossier. This climbing/trailing houseplant thrives in bright light(but tolerates medium light). To keep it growing its best, look for a locale about 3 feet away from a good-sized east or west window. Water it as the top quarter to half of the potting mix dries out before giving it its next drink of water. Average room temperatures and humidity are perfectly fine for this low-maintenance climber (though above-average relative humidity will lead to a happier plant), so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested.Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact.Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
