Enjoy gorgeous color and texture in your home with the beauty of Sunburst Pothos (Epipremnum pinnatum Sunburst). This easy-care, variegated houseplant is perfect for practically any home! It tolerates a wide range of growing conditions, and you can grow it climbing or trailing. It grows fast (in good light) and is easy to propagate, making it ideal for decorating with and sharing with friends. While young, it looks similar to common Golden Pothos (but with longer, narrower leaves). But as it matures, the leaves get considerably larger and form eye-catching Monstera-like cuts and holes. This easy-care houseplant will be delivered fresh from our farm direct to your doorstep. Shipping, handling, and a heat pack (if needed) is included in the price.

    • Can climb to 6 feet or more, and if you grow it up vertically, the leaves can get more than 18 inches long
    • Each leaf is different with streaks and splashes of cream and gold. Mature leaves develop Monstera-like fenestrations (windows). These fenestrations often start out as small holes along the center of the leaf.
    • Low-maintenance plant ideal for beginners and houseplant enthusiasts alike.

    Epipremnum pinnatum Sunburst

Native to tropical areas of the Pacific—from Australia up into parts of China, Epipremnum pinnatum’s botanical name refers to how its leaves are feather shaped. The mature leaves can reach nearly 2 feet long and are decorated with deep fenestrations (windows) along the edges. This selection Is even more beautiful than the species as the deep green leaves are decorated with cream and gold variegation. It’s a must-have variety for anyone who loves Pothos (Epipremnum)! There are a few other gold-variegated selections of Epipremnum pinnatum available, but we’ve found this variety has excellent stability (it doesn’t revert back to green as much) and is a strong grower.

To keep this variegated vining houseplant happiest, grow it in medium to bright indoor light, ideally, within about 3 feet of an unobstructed east- or west-facing window (or the equivalent if you grow under artificial lights). It can tolerate lower light, but it won’t grow as quickly and the variegation may fade in color. Water Sunburst as the top quarter to half of the potting mix dries to the touch. Like with most other Epipremnum species/varieties, take care not to overwater it. Average household temperatures and humidity levels are just fine for this low-maintenance plant.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
